Tip: Freeze hummus

Since making hummus yourself can be a little time-consuming, I suggest preparing a little more or double the amount you need and fill it into a jar or something you can freeze.

When doing so, you should pay attention to the fact that frozen hummus must thaw in the refrigerator one night before consumption.

But if you plan on storing it in the refrigerator it should be fine for around one week or a little longer. Depending on the freshness of your ingredients.

What fits well with hummus ?

Hummus is a super delicious side dish that you can actually eat with almost anything. For example, with some grilled fish or a falafel. But you can also use hummus as a dip for vegetable sticks, crackers or as a butter alternative. Feel free to try out different combinations to see what you like the most.
